WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?

Yoga Therapy comes from the lens of the whole-person when working towards health and wellbeing. It emphasizes the mind-body-environment relationship and aims to support individuals in finding MBE balance through practices such as asana, movement, pranayama, meditation, chanting, visualization, lifestyle and proper nutrition. Through these practices you develop tools to live in the world in a more embodied, present and connected way. 

WHAT IS SOMATIC EXPERIENCING?

Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach to healing from unmanaged stress and trauma. SE was developed by Peter Levine and emphasizes a bottom up approach to healing. SE works with the physiology of the body in order to complete incomplete defensive responses, unlock thwarted survival energy, work with healthy aggression, develop healthy boundaries, build a sense of self empowerment and reconnect to your life force energy and your true essence.

WHAT IS SOMATIC TOUCH?

Somatic Touch is a touch-based therapy that can access the more implicit or early developmental trauma stored in the body. Touch is our very first language so it has the ability to access pre-verbal experiences - listening and communicating through the body. Through an empowered process, the client and touch therapist work together to negotiate boundary and self-agency and build a felt sense of safety in the body in the present that may not have been experienced in the past.

Virtual and In-Person Sessions

1:1 Individualized Yoga Therapy and Somatic Experiencing sessions are tailored to meet your specific physical, mental, emotional and nervous system needs. Through embodied practices, we'll work collaboratively to reconnect to your body in a safe and titrated way, to tap into healthy aggression, explore healthy boundaries, recover from unmanaged stress and trauma and restore your inner vitality and connection to your true essence.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be asked to complete an intake form and waiver and may be asked to do a short phone consult prior to beginning sessions.

WOMEN'S HEALING RETREAT

Book a private retreat for yourself - including stay and Yoga Therapy/SE/Somatic Touch Sessions tailored to meet your needs.

Stay in Little Morocco - a space curated for women to lean into self care, healing and restoration. During your stay you can book 1:1 sessions as part of your healing experience.

INDIVIDUAL SESSION: CHILD OR TEEN

Virtual and In-Person Sessions

I work with children and teens with diverse needs including neurodiversity, disability, sensory processing challenges, motor impairments, health issues, anxiety, depression and trauma. I serve as a co-regulator and supportive facilitator in helping your child learn tools to connect to their bodies, manage big emotions, self-regulate, recover from stress and trauma and build capacity and resilience. My aim is in helping children and teens build self-esteem, self-love and self-agency so they can pilot their own planes and move through the world with more confidence, curiosity and connection.

CASE CONSULTS: YOGA THERAPY AND YOUTH FOCUSED

Online

1:1 case consults or mentorship. I provide guidance in integrating yoga/yoga therapy for children and teens with complex needs (specific case questions or challenges) or in serving as a coach and support in your yoga therapy/yoga business focused on youth.
